Worship at St. Thomas More

Full ChurchIn the midst of a culture clamoring for novelty and entertainment, at St. Thomas More we are deliberate in offering worship that is timeless, beautiful, and ennobling.  Not dull or stuffy, our worship is physical, sensual, mystical, and symbolic; we use our bodies to stand, sit, and kneel, our voices to sing and pray, our minds to ponder challenging preaching, and our senses to be nourished by art, architecture, music, and incense.

Given the unique history of our community, we worship using a fully approved variation on the ordinary Catholic Mass, whose rich, traditional English and beautiful music are familiar and welcoming to Christians of our background... and are deeply appreciated by many others as well.  We offer this Mass not to simply grasp what is familiar, but to reach out and welcome others into the Catholic Church who love and appreciate these traditions.

To help both newcomers and seasoned veterans alike to participate fully in worship, each week we produce a fully comprehensive liturgy guide, with all texts, music, and scripture for the entire Mass laid out from cover to cover, eliminating the need for worshipers to juggle multiple prayer books, hymnals, and leaflets.

We invite you to join us for Mass or Evensong soon!  Whatever your background, we think you'll find our worship a great witness to our faith, and to our Lord.

Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI at Westminster Abbey, London

Moved by Anglican worship, the Catholic Church reaches out to her

Following his visit to Britain, the Pope invites the

alongside the Sistine Choir in Rome
