Apologetics Resources
If you'd like to share your faith with your non-Christian or non-Catholic family, friends, and colleagues, several types of background information will be helpful.
First, there is the content of the conversation itself, which we have supplied amply on this website for talking with both non-Christians and non-Catholics. If you are aware of a particular issue that your friend is struggling with, you will want to familiarize yourself with good talking points to engage that concern.
But there are also two other foundations which will be helpful: The first is to have an understanding of the secular, pluralistic western culture in which we now live, and thereby, the kinds of arguments that will (or will not) resonate in our cultural setting. The second is to develop the approach you will employ in the spoken conversation itself.
We hope, then, that providing not just the content, but the cultural acumen and conversational tactics detailed below, will leave you better prepared to share your faith with those around you... which of course must never arise from seeking victory, but always from self-giving love.
