Annual Fellowship Celebrations



At St. Thomas More we never miss an opportunity to commemorate important milestones in the life of our congregation, nor to take advantage of opportune occasions throughout the Church Year to celebrate together.  Join us for these delightful celebrations of Parish life!

• Anniversary Potluck commemorating the founding of our congregation on the Eve of All Saints (on or about October 31).

• Three Kings Celebration Supper, our Epiphany potluck during which three guests are crowned our Three Kings and receive gifts from the Parish (Epiphany Sunday, early January, after 4:00 p.m. Lessons & Carols).

• Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper, an opportunity to "fatten up" on the evening before Lent begins on Ash Wednesday (late winter).

• Chair of Saint Peter, the special feast day celebrated by our Parish and others in the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter (February 22).

• St. Joseph Day, commemorating the Patron Saint of our place of worship, St. Joseph Church (March 19).

• Family Enrichment Annual Picnic, concluding each season of our kids' clubs activities (second Sunday in June).

• St. Thomas More Novena Feast, an English pub lunch usually on the Sunday falling within our annual Novena to St. Thomas More (late June).

• Annual Parish Picnic, a full day of food, fellowship, and fun at Lackawanna State Park (early August).

• Vigil of Mary, Mother of God, being on New Years Eve, provides the opportunity to remain after vigil Mass that evening for food, games, a movie, and fellowship in the Parish Hall until welcoming the New Year at midnight (December 31).
