Confession
The Sacrament of Confession (also "Reconciliation" or "Penance") is available 15 minutes or more prior to all Sunday, weekday, and Holy Day Masses, during which time the Pastor will be in the Confessional at the rear of the church, with the light illuminated. Should time run out for all confessions to be heard prior to Mass, he is usually also available after Mass, having first greeted departing worshipers.
Confession is also available by private appointment; simply contact the Parish Office.
Children preparing for their First Holy Communion receive their First Penance as part of their First Holy Communion Sunday School class during the weeks leading up to First Holy Communion. Children use a simple Examination of Conscience in their Sunday School textbook to prepare for Confession.
Adults and Teens are encouraged to prepare for Confession using the comprehensive booklet prepared by the Parish and available in printed copies on the literature tables at the back of the church, or by downloading the document provided below (tap or click).
