Small Groups
Given the circumstances of our founding, St. Thomas More is (by Catholic standards) a small Parish, so it is not difficult to to meet new people and make new friends even at parish-wide gatherings such as our coffee hour, Neighbor Nights, potluck meals, annual celebrations, or parish picnic.
Nevertheless, one of the best ways to get to know others on a more intimate level is to participate in one of our many small groups. These can be fellowship or study groups designed for the enrichment of the participants, or they can be service groups designed for participants to enrich others; either way, both involve time spent alongside a handful of others with a common purpose, allowing space and time for friendships to spark and grow.
Fellowship & Study Groups
The Holy League is a parish-based network of men united in devotion to the Blessed Sacrament, combatting the forces of evil in today’s culture by calling men back to the state of grace and transforming the culture through prayer. The men meet on the first and third Wednesday evenings of the month after 5:30 p.m. Mass for light potluck supper at 6:15 p.m. and a Holy Hour with teaching and confessions, 7:00-8:00 p.m. See the video below:
Ladies' Lunch Group meets for lunch, fellowship, and a book study on the third Monday of each month at noon in the Parish Hall.
Adult Education Classes are described here, and usually include potluck lunches where you can get to know others before class.
Our Family Enrichment program is described here.
Our Youth Group is decribed here.
Service Groups
Most service groups at the Parish are related to our worship life; please see our How You Can Serve page in our Worship section, as well as our Music page to learn about our Parish Choir.
