Youth Group



All Parish youth age 12 and up - and their Catholic and non-Catholic friends - are welcome to participate in Youth Group. Since the rest of our youth discipleship opportunities tend to be fairly rigorous (Confirmation prep, post-Confirmation Sunday School, Family Enrichment, Maria Kaupas Academy, etc.), Youth Group is an opportunity to kick back and socialize with other teens on fun outings such as bowling, mini-golf, laser tag, or the movies.

Youth Group is offered twice per month, September through May: On the fourth Sunday of the month we meet at the Parish in Scranton and then depart for an outing. On the third Sunday of the month we meet after the 5:00 p.m. Mass offered at our mission congregation in Bath, PA, the Blessed John Henry Newman Society, hosted by Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish. In this way, teens affiliated with our outpost in the Lehigh Valley are brought into regular contact and friendship with teens from our home Parish in Scranton.
